Summer String Jam offers a week of fun-filled musical instruction for string students of all levels. In a supportive and non-competitive environment, campers will...

Develop musical skills: Learn new techniques, improve musicianship, and refine performance abilities.

Collaborate with peers: Participate in large orchestra rehearsals, chamber music ensembles, and sectionals led by experienced instructors.

Perform in concerts: Showcase talents in two exciting concerts on August 8th at noon and 1:00 pm.

Summer String Jam offers multiple Orchestra Levels:

  • Concertino Orchestra | Perfect for beginners with limited experience.
    • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM daily; Friday 9 am - 2:30
  • Sonori Orchestra | Ideal for early-intermediate players with at least two years of experience.
    • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM daily; Friday 9 am - 2:30
  • Sinfonia Orchestra | Suitable for intermediate players with at least three years of experience.
    • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM daily; Friday 9 am - 2:30
  • Filarmonica Orchestra | Designed for upper-intermediate to advanced players with strong proficiency. May be divided into two levels based on enrollment.
    • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM daily; Friday 9 am - 2:30
